Ace Comedians that are Graduates of Delta State University

Delta state university Abraka is located in the south-south part (Delta state) of the country. The people from the southern part of Nigeria are said to be funny and smart. They are also known for their funny slangs and attitude to life. Their perseverance and can-do spirit have helped them to top their games.

Their way of life can be seen on both indigenes and non-indigenes of the state. It’s not surprising that some of the fineness comedians are graduates of the state university. Guess the lifestyle of the south rubbed off on them that is why they are doing so well in their careers. Here is a list of comedians that attended Delta state university:

AY

Ayo Makun who is popularly known as AY is a graduate of Delta state university. He studied theatre arts. While at the university, Ay was actively involved in the entertainment business of the university. His company Corporate World Entertainment was in charge of organizing the university’s beauty pageant and also bringing celebrities as guests to the campus shows. In fact his beautiful wife Mabel also contested for the beauty crown of the university while she was an undergraduate there. Ay is doing so well for entertainment industry. His show AY Live is the bomb. Not forgetting his movie- 30 days in Atlanta and the latest one- A Trip to Jamaica.

BOVI

Abovi Ugboma also known as Bovi attended the Delta state university. He has a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts. Bovi’s career as an actor started from the television series “Extended Family”. He latest movie- “It’s Her Day” will sure crack you up. His comedy show- Bovi: man of fire is really hot. Bovi is married with children.

GORDONS

Godwin Komone popularly known as Gordons studied integrated science at the Delta state university. Gordons is a true “warri” comedian who has featured in good numbers comedy shows in the country. He is married and doing so well in his career.

USHBEBE

Justice Nuagbe also known as Ushbebe attended Delta state university. And like Ay and Bovi, Ushbebe studied theatre arts. The working relationship between Ay and Ushbebe started at the university and since then, the two have given their fans great comedy shows. Although, Ushbebe tried his hands on a banking job, he later resigned and went back to the entertainment industry. Ushbebe is an on air personality and a TV presenter. His show- Chronicles of Ushbebe is trending.
