Basic Skills Every Mum Should Possess

Being a mum is so much fun. It is a job that you do and do not get paid for. You are the first to resume and the last to close for the day. This minute  you are angry at your child's behaviour the next minute you are kissing him/her for a work well done. To make your job as a mum easier and fun, there are some basic skills that you should possess. Here are a

1. How to sew: this may sound simple and easy but it will surprise you that some mums do not know how to pass a thread  through a needle talk less of sewing. As  mums, we see a lot every day. From a missing button from the school uniform shirt to a torn short. In such situations, you do not need to run down the street to get it fixed. You can do it yourself. Just ensure that you have threads of different colors at home.

2.How to make confectioneries: Children love to eat confectioneries such as scotch egg, small chops, meat pie and so on. Learning to bake will help minimize your frequenting a confectionary shop. You do not have to be a professional. With google search engine you can learn to prepare  any snack for your child.

3.How to make hair. Yes! this skill is so important for mums with female children. Sometimes you do not have to take your daughter to the salon to make her hair. Making your daughter's hair can serve as a bonding activity.As a mum you should know how to neatly pack your child's hair.

  

4.Ironing  clothes: Sometimes we tend to think only the men should know how to iron clothes but there will be days when your husband will not be available and you don't have a laundry man. Knowing how to iron will sure be handy.

5.Polishing  shoe: If your child wears black or brown leather shoe to school, you should also learn to polish your child's shoe.
